Short term marketing just doesn't work

This years Cannes Lions awards for best films will have been well received by the winning marketing teams, but less so by their clients. The films performed worse than any winners in the last 10 years, with all but 2 achieving 0% sales growth.


Why? Because of a strategy for short term gain.


In today’s digital economy, short term doesn’t cut it. Audiences don’t engage.
